THE LAMMERTAL - THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VALLEY IN THE STATE OF SALZBURG
Original and real. The Lammertal, a scenic jewel, separated by the Tennengebirge from the Salzach Valley. No thoroughfares, no motorway and no railway. Partly quiet, partly wildly romantic, the Lammer meanders through the valley. Side valleys branch off and reveal views of the large mountains of the Hochkönig, Dachstein and Bischofsmütze. Thanks are due to the countless mountain farmers who are valuable landscape conservationists in this valley. A few hairpin bends from the valley to the mountains and the view widens. Natural beauties in the form of primeval forests, ravines and gorges unaffected by human hands. Just... real.
